The average pass rate across the 11 education boards for this year's SSC and equivalent examinations has fallen to 62.25%. This figure represents the lowest success rate in 19 years, following the 57.37% recorded in 2007. Over the past decade, the pass rate has declined by 26.04 percentage points, dropping from 88.29% in 2016. Factors contributing to this decline include recent curriculum changes and learning losses attributed to the Covid-19 pandemic.
