BGMEA to enforce ESG reporting for all member factories
The BGMEA is set to make ESG reporting mandatory for all its member factories following low participation rates.

The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has decided to enforce Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting for all its member factories. Currently, only 326 out of approximately 2,500 active member factories have submitted their ESG reports. This figure represents only 13% of the total membership, a participation rate that the association considers far from satisfactory.
