For the first time in two years, Bangladesh Bank has lowered its policy rate by 50 basis points.
Bangladesh Bank has decided to reduce the policy rate by 50 basis points, marking the first such adjustment in two years. The revised rates are scheduled to take effect starting 2 August 2026.
