The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has announced that individuals who submit their income tax returns within September will be entitled to a tax rebate of up to Tk25,000. The authorities have also outlined penalties for late submissions.
According to the regulations, a minimum penalty of Tk3,000 will be imposed for returns filed after December, while the penalty increases to Tk5,000 for those filed after March.
