According to data from 2018, approximately 12% of the population in Bangladesh aged 18 to 39 suffer from hypertension. Furthermore, non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are responsible for 71% of all deaths across the country. In light of these statistics, speakers have highlighted the urgent need for sustainable financing to address these health challenges and protect the younger generation.
