According to ship handlers, current speeds during high tide are 5-6 nautical miles stronger than normal levels. This intensity has made it difficult for lighter vessels to berth alongside mother vessels. Consequently, the turnaround time for these vessels has doubled, impacting overall cargo handling efficiency.
