PM invites Marubeni to invest in AI data centre and second KAFCO plant
During a meeting at the Prime Minister's Office, discussions were held regarding potential Japanese investments in AI, cybersecurity, and a new fertilizer plant.
The Prime Minister held a meeting at the Secretariat to discuss potential investment opportunities with representatives from the Japanese firm Marubeni. The talks focused on sectors including information technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, energy, and fertilizers. A proposal for establishing a second Karnaphuli Fertilizer Company Limited (KAFCO) plant was also reviewed during the session.
