The proposal to lease land for the construction of a 55 MW solar power plant at the Jamuna Bridge site has been officially approved. This project is part of a wider initiative to increase renewable energy generation in the country. Additionally, the Bridge Authority has sanctioned a master plan to install solar panels across its various facilities.
