Ecnec approves Tk41,090cr for fifth primary education development programme
The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec) has approved Tk41,090 crore for the fifth primary education development programme, scheduled to run from July 2026 to June 2031.
The fifth primary education development programme has received approval from Ecnec with a budget of Tk41,090 crore. The initiative is set to span from July 2026 to June 2031. However, the Planning Commission has raised concerns regarding a Tk436 crore consultancy package and has mandated that the project proposal be revised within two weeks.
