Buriganga riverbank remains uncleaned despite High Court directive

The High Court bench, comprising Justice Ahmed Sohel and Justice SM Iftekhar Uddin Mahamud, issued a directive to the relevant authorities to clean the banks of the Buriganga River. Furthermore, the court has ordered the submission of a progress report regarding the implementation of this directive within a four-week timeframe. Observations on the ground indicate that no cleanup activities have commenced as of yet.
