According to experts, approximately 25 million Bangladeshis are currently unable to afford a nutritious diet. Reports indicate that this issue is largely driven by a lack of effective policy coordination and insufficient financing in the sector.
To address these challenges, experts have proposed the following measures:
- Promoting agricultural diversification.
- Implementing nutrition-sensitive social protection programs.
- Improving coordination across government policy frameworks.
