New Pay Scale Approved for Government Employees

The cabinet in Bangladesh has officially approved the ninth pay scale for government officials and employees. Under the new structure, salaries will see an increase ranging from 100 percent to a maximum of 142 percent. The government has decided to implement this new pay scale in three phases over the next two fiscal years.
