LNG supply drops by another 100 mmcfd as gas crisis deepens

The national grid is facing an intensified gas shortage as the supply of Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) has decreased by an additional 100 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd). This decline follows the shutdown of Excelerate Energy's floating LNG terminal. Since the terminal ceased operations, the total reduction in supply has reached approximately 550 mmcfd, exacerbating energy shortages across the country.
