HC issues rule on banning potassium bromate in bread

The High Court has issued a rule asking why the use of potassium bromate in bread and bakery products should not be prohibited. Furthermore, the court has sought an explanation as to why it should not be made mandatory for manufacturers to include a label on bread packaging stating that potassium bromate has not been used.
